Updates and October

A couple of quick updates:

As you might have noticed, I don’t update this site too much. If you want to keep up with what’s actually going on with me, most of my words are devoted to my Patreon site. You can find that link here. I promise, it is chock full of daily goodness. There’s everything from essays on music and books to Bigfoot to behind the scenes looks at my career to audio versions of my stories to original fiction.

Likewise, you can get my books and other stuff directly from my online store, which also features t-shirts and hopefully some additional stuff after the start of the new year. The shirts are made by my niece, and the money from those goes to her to keep her in pizza money at college. The books, those are me, and they include copies of stuff that is out of print or otherwise hard to find. And of course, I will cheerfully autograph, inscribe, or deface anything you order.

I am now selling some items from my personal library over at PangoBooks. You can find that stuff here. There’s a wide range of books, genres, editions, and so forth, and I’m adding to it pretty much every day.

And here’s my upcoming appearances:

October 15th – I’ll be reading as part of the legendary Noir at the Bar series at Yonder in Hillsborough, alongside such luminaries as Katy Munger, Jill McCorkle, Eryk Pruitt, and more.
October 17th – Catch me, along with Rikki Goodwin, Jon Carroll Thomas, and death metal band Noctomb, for Morbid Tales IV at Moon Dog Meadery in Durham. There will be fiction. There will be mead. There will be metal. Very loud metal. You have been warned.
October 23rd – There’s going to be a whole mess of horror writers from the HWA Carolinas chapter and Necksnap Magazine at the Museum of Natural Sciences for Tales of Woe, a spooky Halloween event. There will be readings! There will be discussions of horror! There will be no stickers given away, because this is a museum and you don’t do that sort of thing. But you should be there!
October 31st – If it’s Halloween, then it’s time for ghost stories in the graveyard at Mystic Farm & Distillery! We’re going to have more authors, ranging from the “mildly spooky” to the “oh my God, why didn’t they put down tarps” as the night goes along. Hope to see you there!
